Clamshell mode, but make it look intentional.

Hourglass shape with a narrow slot in the middle — wide enough for a closed laptop to stand vertically. 16" MacBook Pro fits. ThinkPads fit. Thickness range is about 12–22mm.

The ribbed walls grip the laptop and add enough weight (~250g) that it doesn't topple when you plug in a cable. No felt pads to peel off; the PLA texture does the gripping.

Pair with an external monitor and keyboard for a docked setup. Also looks fine empty.

How it's made

3D printed in PLA on our own printers — a plant-based plastic that's rigid, light and matte. You'll see fine layer lines up close; that's the texture of the process, not a flaw. Colours are solid through, so nothing to chip. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; keep it out of direct sun and away from heat.
